cherry blossom INSPIRATION

The Cherry blossom has many meanings: In the Japanese culture, the cherry blossom represents the cycle of life and how our lives blossom and fall. In China the cherry blossoms has a completely different meaning than Japanese culture, it is associated with women’s dominance and beauty as well as feminine sexuality. The Japanese culture’s meaning of the cherry blossom (the cherry blossom represents the cycle of life and how our lives blossom and fall) relates to our forever changing hair styles, color, and length. It grows and then we cut it. Nothing in life is permanent and change is the only constant.
One of the focal points will be a painted mural of the cycle of a cherry blossom.
